Stock ng bigas sapat para sa mga apektado ng bagyong Rosita — NFA
Tiniyak ng National Food Authority (NFA) na may sapat na stocks ng bigas para sa mga lugar na hinahagupit ng bagyong Rosita.
Ayon kay NFA officer in charge Administrator Tomas Escarez, mayroong sapat na rice stocks sa kanilang mga bodega sa buong bansa partikular sa Hilaga at Central Luzon na direktang apektado ng bagyo.
Handa aniya ang ahensya na maglabas ng rice requirements para sa relief operations anumang oras.
Naka-alerto at nakikipag-ugnayan ang NFA local offices sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Regional and Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (RDRRMC/PDRRMC), mga lokal na pamahalaan, at Philippine National Red Cross para sa agarang paglalabas ng supply ng bigas.
Dagdag ni Escarez, mayroong memorandum of agreement (MOA) ang NFA sa kaukulang relief agencies para agad silang makakuha ng bigas kapag may kalamidad at emergency.
