Slowly but surely sa imbestigasyon sa shabu shipment pinatitiyak ng Malakanyang sa NBI

Walang balak ang Malakanyang na madaliin ang National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) kaugnay sa ginagawang imbestigasyon sa P6.4 billion at P6.8 billion na shabu shipment.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo, mas gugustuhin ng Malakanyang ang mabagal na imbestigasyon basta’t masisiguro na hindi maibabasura ang isasampang kaso sa korte.

Wala aniyang kwenta ang mabilisang imbestigasyon kung ang ending lang naman ay sa basurahan dadamputin ang kaso.

Sinabi pa ni Panelo na bago magsampa ng kaso sa korte, kinakailangan na may matibay na ebidensya na magiging kaakibat sa alegasyon.

Wala rin aniyang saysay ang mga imbestigasyon kung hindi naman maparurusahan ang mga taong nasa likod ng shabu shipment.

“Well simply because the investigation is still ongoing. Before you file charges in court, you have to have hard evidence to back your allegations. Otherwise, the case will be dismissed just like what happened to queen of drugs where the court acquitted her. If you cannot prosecute successfully, then it’s useless filing the case. That is precisely why we are careful in gathering the evidence to support any charges against any or all involved in the said crime,” ani Panelo.
