Malacañan tiwalang magkakaroon na ng third telco player sa susunod na buwan
Kumpiyansa ang Palasyo ng Malacañan na on track ang Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) sa pagpili ng third telecommunications player sa bansa.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo, pinoproseso na ngayon ang aplikasyon ng third telco.
Malinaw naman kasi aniya ang pahayag noon ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na kapag wala pang third telco sa buwan ng Nobyembre, kanya nang iti-take over ang selection process ng DICT sa pagpili ng bagong player.
Sa naunang pahayag ni DICT Acting Secretary Eliseo Rio, sinabi nito na maaaring pangalanan na sa buwan ng Nobyembre ang third telco player na bubuwag sa duoploy ng Smart at Globe telecoms.
