Commuters, pinayuhan ng Palasyo na umapela hinggil sa taas-pasahe sa jeep at bus

Pinayuhan ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang ang grupo ng commuters o iba pang stakeholder na umapela o maghain ng motion for reconsideration sa Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) para ipatigil ang dagdag-pasahe sa jeep at bus.

Sa panayam ng Radyo Inquirer, sinabi ni Presidential spokesman Salvador Panelo na noon pa man, nagbigay na ng rekomendasyon ang National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) sa LTFRB na huwag munang aprubahan ang anumang dagdag-singil sa pasahe subalit hindi ito pinagbigyan.

Paliwanag ng LTFRB, binalanse raw nila ang argumento ng mga may-ari ng jeep at bus at mga pasahero at maliit lang naman daw ang epekto nito sa inflation.

Dahil sa paa-apruba ng LTFRB, magiging P10 na ang minimum na pasahe sa jeep habang P13 piso naman ang magiging minimum na pasahe sa bus.
