Pinatunayan ni Ivory Coast big man Ange Kouame ang kaniyang lakas sa buong laro matapos makapagtala ng double-double sa 33 points at 27 rebounds.
Ayon kay Ateneo assistant coach Sandy Arespacochaga, sinamantala ng koponan ang oportunidad na nahihirapan ang Tamaraws sa kanilang shooters.
Dahil dito, kasamang nangunguna ng Adamson University Falcons ang Blue Eagles sa team standings sa win-loss record na 7-2.
Ang Tamaraws naman ay tabla sa De La Salle University Green Archers sa win-loss record na 5-4.
