2 opisyal ng BIR, arestado dahil sa tangkang pangingikil
Arestado sa ikinasang entrapment operation ang dalawang opsiyal ng Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) sa Batangas City dahil sa tangkang pangingikil sa isang medical laboratory.
Nakilala ang dalawang opsiyal na sina Mark Dexter Medina at Menelao Jimenez.
Nahaharap ang dalawa sa kasong direct bribery at breach of conduct complaint na isinampa sa Office of the Ombudsman.
Mismong si Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) Commissioner at Spokesperson Greco Belgica ang nagsampa ng kaso sa dalawa.
Lumabag ang dalawa sa Article 210 ng Revised Penal Code at sa Republic Act 6713 o ang Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees.
