Pangulong Duterte napaiyak sa pang-aapi ng ex-commissioner ng UNCHR
Napaiyak umano si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa naging pahayag ni dating United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein na kailangan na niya umanong magpatingin sa psychiatrist.
Sa talumpati ng pangulo sa 44th Philippine Business Conference and Expo Sa Manila Hotel, sinabi nito na pakiramdam niya ay inaapi-api siya ng mga tao.
Matatandaang naging kaliwa’t kanan ang batikos ng mga human rights advocates partikular ng mga opisyal mula sa UN sa giyera kontra droga ng administrasyon.
“Ang presidente nila (sa UN High Commission on Human Rights) sinabi na, ‘Duterte you need to see a psychiatrist… Kapatid pala ng King of Jordan. Napaiyak tuloy ako kasi inaapi-api ako ng mga tao,” ayon sa pangulo.
Sinabi ni Zeid na dapat nang sumailalim si Duterte sa psychiatric evaluation matapos magbanta na sasampalin si UN special rapporteus Agnes Callamard.
Si Zeid ay pinsan ni Jordanian King Abdullah II na nakapulong ng presidente noong Setyembre.
Iginiit ni Duterte na ayaw ng hari sa kanyang pinsan.
