Tax exemption sa OT pay at night differential, pinamamadali sa kamara
Pinamamadali na ng Trade Union Congress of the Philippines sa kamara ang pagpasa ng panukalang batas na magbibigay ng tax exemption sa overtime pay at graveyard shift differential.
Ayon kay TUCP President Ernesto Herrera, suportado nila ang dalawang panukala ni Makati Congresswoman Abigail Binay na naglalayong amyendahan ang computation sa gross income sa tax reform act.
Sakaling maipasa ang panukala, tinatayang aabot sa 1.1 milyong manggagawa mula sa business process outsourcing ang makikinabang.
“The measures will prosper middle-class families, rev up household consumption, create new demand for the products and services of domestic industries, and stimulate economic growth amid persistent government underspending,” pahayag ni Herrera.
