CA Associate Justice Ramon Paul Hernando, bagong mahistrado ng Korte Suprema
Nakapili na si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ng kapalit ni dating Supreme Court Associate Justice at ngayo’y Ombudsman Samuel Martires.
Ito ay matapos na pirmahan ng pangulo ang appointment ni Court of Appeals Associate Justice Ramon Paul Hernando bilang ika-labing tatlong mahistrado ng Mataas na Kapulungan.
Si Hernando, na graduate sa Ateneo Law School, ay nagdiwang ng kanyang ika-52 kaarawan nito lamang Agosto.
Walong taon siyang naglingkod bilang Associate Justice ng appellate court matapos maitalaga noong Pebrero 2010.
Nagsimula siya bilang state prosecutor sa Department of Justice at naging Presiding Judge ng Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 93 sa loob ng tatlong taon bago maging presiding judge sa San Pablo Regional trial court sa Laguna ng halos tatlong taon.
