Pasado na sa ikatlo at huling pagbasa ng Kamara ang panukalang mandatory Philhealth coverage sa lahat ng may kapansanan.
Aamyendahan ng House Bill 8014 ang kasalukuyang Magna Carta for Persons with Disability.
Magmumula sa pondo ng Philhealth na galing sa sin tax ang gagastusin para sa Philhealth coverage ng mga persons with disability.
Napapanahon na ayon sa mga may akda na maisama ang vulnerable sector ng PWDs sa Philhealth dahil nasa 1.6 na milyong Pilipino ang may kapansanan at nangangailangan ng ayuda ng gobyerno.
