22 dalaga nasagip mula sa human trafficker sa Cavite
Nasagip ng mga elemento ng Philippine National Police – Women and Children Protection Center (PNP-WCPC) ang 22 kabataang babae mula sa human trafficker sa isang resort sa Barangay San Agustin II, Dasmariñas, Cavite.
Nabatid na mula sa naturang bilang, 18 dito ay pawang mga menor de edad.
Ayon kay PNP-WCPC Anti-Trafficking in Persons Division chief, Senior Superintendent Villamor Tuliao, ibinubugaw ng babaeng suspek ang mga dalaga sa mga customer ng resort.
Dagdag pa ni Tuliao, posible ring maharap sa kaso ang mga may-ari at caretaker ng resort dahil hindi nila idinulog sa mga otoridad ang nagaganap na pambubugaw sa loob ng resort.
Sa ngayon ay patuloy ang imbestigasyon ng mga otoridad upang malaman kung kasabwat ba sa prostitusyon ang mga may-ari ng resort.
Samantala, sasampahan naman ng kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9208 o Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003 ang babaeng suspek sa pambubugaw.
