Ayon sa Phivolcs, ang episentro ng pagyanig ay sa layong 13 kilometro Timog-Silangan ng Anahawan.
May lalim itong siyam na kilometro.
Tectonic ang dahilan ng pagyanig na hindi naman nagdulot ng aftershocks.
Wala rin inaasahang pinsala sa ari-arian.
