Sarado ang tanggapan ng US Embassy sa Maynila sa October 8, araw ng Lunes.
Ito ay dahil gugunitain ang Columbus Day sa Amerika para sa nasabing petsa.
Ang Columbus Day ay isang American Holiday.
Ayon sa embahada sa Oct. 9 araw ng Martes magre-resume ang kanilang normal na operasyon.
Ginugunita sa Columbus Day ang petsa ng pagdating ni Christopher Columbus noong Oct. 1492.
