ICC tinawag na grupo ng mga kriminal ni Duterte
Muling binatikos ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang International Criminal Court (ICC) at ang European Union.
Sa kanyang talumpati sa Asia Pacific Association of Gastroenterology forum sa Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, sinabi ng Pangulo na ang nais lamang ng ICC ay maipakulong siya at maiharap sa paglilitis dahil sa reklamong genocide.
Bwelta pa ng pangulo, wala namang maipakitang ebidensya ang nasabing korte sa paratang ng pagpatay.
Sa halip, iginiit ng chief executive na ang tanging nais ng EU na siyang may likha sa ICC ay ipilit ang kanilang kultura dito sa Pilipinas.
“You’re all bulls*****. They want to send me to prison and try me for genocide… They’re a bunch of criminals. Show me how they died, when they died, where? Nothing. They would just say, Duterte time, 4,000 killed. Me killing 4,000? I won’t even have time to sit for a sh*t. It would keep me busy for 24 hours,” ayon sa pangulo.
Si Duterte ay nahaharap sa reklamo sa ICC kaugnay ng kanyang war on drugs at ang pagkakaroon diumano nito ng papel sa Davao Death Squad noong siya pa ang Mayor ng Davao City.
