Patay sa landslide sa Naga City, 29 na; Operasyon ng Apo Land & Quarry Corp., sinuspinde ng DENR
Umakyat na sa 29 ang bilang ng nasawi sa landslide na naganap sa Naga City sa Cebu.
Ito ay makaraang ma-recover ang tatlo pang katawan sa bahagi ng Barangay Tinaan.
Ayon kay Cebu Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) head Baltazar Tribunalo Jr., wala na silang nakikitang signs of life sa pinangyarihan ng landslide.
Pero hindi aniya susuko ang mga otoridad at magpapatuloy pa rin ang search and rescue operations.
Samantala, umaapela naman si Cebu City Disaster Risk Refuction and Management Office head Nagiel Bañacia ng donasyong N-95 mask sa mga nagsasagawa ng operasyon dahil hindi na aniya kaaya-aya ang amoy sa ground zero.
Biyernes ng hapon dumating sa Naga City si Department of Environment and Natural Resources Sec. Roy Cimatu at agad nitong ipinag-utos ang labinglimang araw na suspensyon ssa operasyon ng APO Land and Quarry Corporation.
