Ayon sa Phivolcs, ang episentro ng lindol ay sa layong 59 kilometro Hilagang-Kanluran ng bayan ng San Vicente.
May lalim itong walong kilometro at tectonic ang dahilan.
Hindi naman inaasahan ang pinsala sa mga ari-arian at aftershocks.
