Mga nakumpiskang pagkain ng Customs dapat gamitin sa relief operations ayon sa DOF
Hiniling ni Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez sa Bureau of Customs (BOC) na ibigay na ang lahat ng nakumpiska nitong bigas at food items sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) para magamit sa relief operation sa pananalasa ng Bagyong Ompong.
Ayon kay Dominguez, sinabihan na niya si Customs Commissioner Isidro Lapeña para i-turn over ang naturang mga pagkain sa DSWD.
Paliwanag ng Kalihim, pwedeng mapabilis ang government to government transfers sa mga emergency situation gaya ng bagyo.
Una rito ay nagpadala na ng 1,000 food packs ang DSWD sa Mountain Province.
