Relasyon ng Pilipinas at China, bubuti sa pasya ng UN Tribunal
Ang pasya ng United Nations Arbitral Tribunal na may jurisdiction ito sa usapin ng West Philippine Sea ay simula ng pagbiti ng relasyon ng Pilipinas at China ayon kay Pangulong Benigno Aquino III.
Imbes na lumala, inaasahan ni Pangulong Aquino na mas gaganda ang relasyon ng Pilipinas at China lalo na kung May hatol na ang Permanent Court of Arbitration o PCA sa The Hague sa teritorial dispute sa West Philippine Sea.
Ayon sa pangulo, oras na maglabas ng desisyon ang UN-PCA mas malinaw na kung ano ang karapatan at obligasyon ng mga bansa sa ilalim ng United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea o UNCLOS.
Dahil dito, inaasahan niyang aayos ang relasyon ng lahat ng mga bansa na umaangkin sa mga pinagtatalunang teritoryo sa West Philippine Sea.
