Mga kaso ng undocumented OFWs sa Jordan pinapaasikaso kay Sec. Cayetano
Pababalikin ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano sa Jordan.
Ito ay upang resolbahin ang mga kaso ng undocumented overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) sa naturang bansa.
Sinabi ito ni Duterte sa kanyang talumpati sa harap ng Filipino Community sa Royal Cultural Palace sa Amman, Jordan.
“I will send maybe senator, Secretary Cayetano, to fix this thing,” ani Duterte.
Tinatayang nasa 43,000 ang OFWs sa Jordan.
Pauwi na ng bansa ang presidente ngayong araw matapos ang tatlong araw na official visit sa naturang bansa.
Pinasalamatan ni Duterte si Jordanian King Abdullah II sa maayos na pagtrato sa OFWs.
“I would like to thank again the King, His Majesty King Abdullah, for being so kind to invite me and for being kind to my people,” dagdag ni Dyterte.
Lumagda rin ang Pilipinas at Jordan sa isang kasunduan para tiyakin ang kapakanan ng OFWs na sinaksihan mismo ng dalawang lider.
