Apela ni dating CHR Commissioner Quisumbing, ibinasura ng Sandiganbayan
Ibinasura ng Sandiganbayan ang apela ni dating Commission on Human Rights (CHR) Commissioner Cecilia “Coco” Quisumbing na humihiling sana na ma-dismis ang kaniyang kasong graft, bribery, and ethical breach.
Sa pasya ng Sandiganbayan 2nd division, ibinasura nito ang motion for reconsideration ni Quisumbing.
Si Quisumbing ay nahaharap sa nasabing mga kaso dahil sa pag-promote noon sa staff niya na si Ma. Regina Eugenio mula sa pagiging Administrative Aide VI bilang Senior Administrative Assistant III.
Hindi umano sinunod ni Quisumbing ang rules ng Civil Service Commission sa pagbibigay ng promosyon.
Ayon sa naging imbestigasyon noon ng Office of the Ombudsman, ipinromote ni Quisumbing si Eugenio para maitaas ang sahod nito.
