Pilipinas at Jordan lumagda sa 5 kasunduan

Lumagda ang Pilipinas at Jordan sa limang kasunduan upang mapalawig pa ang relasyon ng dalawang bansa.

Sinaksihan mismo nina Pangulong Duterte at King Abdullah II ang paglagda sa bilateral agreements sa political consultations, defense cooperation, maritime cooperation, cooperation framework for domestic workers at labor cooperation and investment.

Ang mga kasunduang nilagdaan ay ang mga sumusunod:

 Memorandum of Understanding on Political Consultations, between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan, and the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines

 Memorandum of Agreement on Defense Cooperation between the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and the Department of National Defense of the Philippines

 Agreement between the Jordan Maritime Commission and the Maritime Industry Authority of the Philippines concerning the Recognition of Certificates under the Terms of the 1978 STCW (Standards of Training Certification and Watch keeping for Seafarers) Convention

 Cooperation Framework for Employment of Domestic Workers, and Memorandum of Agreement on Labor Cooperation between Jordan and the Philippines

 at Memorandum of Understanding between the Jordan Investment Commission and the Board of Investments of the Philippines.

Isinalarawan ni King Abdullah II ang paglagda sa mga kasunduan bilang ‘milestone’ sa diplomatic relations ng Pilipinas at Jordan na nagsimula noong 1957.
