CJ de Castro at anim na mahistrado ipatatawag sa Kongreso
Sinusulong ngayon ni Akbayan Partylist Representative Tom Villarin na mapatawag sa pagdinig ng House Committee on Justice si Chief Justice Teresita Leonardo-de Castro at ang anim pang justices na inireklamo ng impeachment.
Naniniwala si Villarin na mangyayari ang pagpapatawag kina de Castro at anim pang justices sa sandaling ma-iakyat na sa proseso ng determination of probable cause ang impeachment complaints.
Hindi umano maaaring tumanggi dito si de Castro dahil nauna na rin itong humarap sa kahalintulad na hearing laban sa pinatalsik na si dating Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno noong nakalipas na taon.
Una nang naglabas ng 21-0 vote ang Committee on Justice na nagsasaad na sufficient in form ang inihaing impeachment complaints laban sa pitong SC justices.
