PNP-CIDG mananatiling nakabantay sa Senate compound

Ipinagtanggol ng Philippine National Police o PNP ang presensya ng mga tauhan ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group o CIDG sa Senate compound, kasunod ng pagbawi ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa amnesty kay Senador Antonio Trillanes IV.

Ayon kay PNP Spokesman Senior Supt. Benigno Durana, may mga tauhan ng CIDG sa Senado bilang support group o magbigay ng assistance sa kanilang counterpart sa Armed Forces of the Philippines sakaling arestuhin si Trillanes.

Pero sa ngayon aniya ay wala pang warrant of arrest laban kay Trillanes, kaya mag-aantabay lamang muna ang CIDG sa Senate compound sa Pasay City.

Nilinaw ni Durana na walang kapangyarihan ang PNP na hulihin si Trillanes nang walang warrant of arrest.

Kung hindi naman maglalabas ang korte ng arrest warrant ay handa naman itong sundin ng mga pulis.
