SC spokesperson Theodore Te nagbitiw na sa pwesto
Nagbitiw na sa pwesto si Atty. Theodore Te bilang pinuno ng public information office ng Korte Suprema.
Sa kaniyang liham na may petsang August 29, naghain si Te ng kaniyang irrevocable resignation na tinanggap naman na ni Chief Justice Teresita Leonardo De Castro.
Sa September 7 ang magiging huling araw ni Te bilang SC PIO chief, at si Deputy Information Chief Maria Victoria Gleoresty Guerra ang papalit sa kaniyang bilang acting chief ng PIO.
Si Te ay nanilbihan bilang tagapagsalita ng Korte Suprema mula 2013 nng italaga siya ni dating chief justice Maria Lourdes Sereno.
Sa kaniyang resignation letter sinabi ni Te na babalik siya sa kaniyang full-time academic life.
Si Te ay co-terminus kay Sereno, pero napalawig ang kaniyang pagiging PIO chief nang i-extend ni Senior Associate Justice Antonio Carpio ang kaniyang termino.
