Pangamba ng tsunami pinawi ng Phivolcs matapos ang lindol sa Mariana Islands

Pinawi ng PHIVOLCS ang banta ng tsunami sa Pilipinas matapos ang naitalang malakas na lindol sa Mariana Islands Region.

Ayon sa PHIVOLCS, walang banta ng tsunami sa bansa kasunod ng magnitude 6.4 na lindol sa Saipan.

Ayon sa USGS, tumama ang lindol sa Garapan, Saipan na nasa kanang bahagi ng Philippine Sea a;as 6:35 ng umaga oras sa Pilipinas.

Bagaman may kalakasan, sabi ng Phivolcs na hindi ito inaasahang magdudulot destructive tsunami.
