Niyanig ng magnitude 5.2 na lindol ang Guiuan, Eastern Samar.
Naitala ng Phivolcs ang lindol sa 72 kilometers North ng Guiuan, alas 12:33 ng tanghali ng Biyernes, August 24.
Ayon sa Phivolcs may lalim na 1 kilometers ang lindol at tectonic ang origin.
Dahil sa nasabing pagyanig naitala ng Phivolcs ang sumusunod na intensties:
Intensity III- Guiuan & Salcedo, Eastern Samar
Intensity II- Borongan, General MacArthur, Giporlos at Quinapondan, Eastern Samar
Intensity I- Tacloban City
