Warship ng Philippine Navy, patungong Australia para sa 2 linggong maritime drills

Patungo ang warship ng Philippine Navy sa Darwin, Australia para makibahagi sa dalawang linggong maritime drill.

Isang sendoff ceremony para sa 300-man contingent ng BRP Ramon Alcaraz (FF-16) na siyang makikiisa sa 14th multilateral regional maritime exercise Kakadu 2018.

Gaganapin ang Kakadu mula August 31 hanggang September 15 kung saan nasa 26 bansa ang makikiisa dito.

Ang Kakadu ay siya ring pinakamalaking maritime drill ng bansang Australia na isinasagawa kada dalawang taon ng Royal Australian Navy.

Ayon kay Public Information Officer Commander Jonathan Zata, ang Kakadu ang ikatlong international defense at security engagement ng Philippine Navy ngayong taon.

Ito na ang ikatlong beses na lalahok ang bansa nasabing maritime drill.
