DND, tiniyak na mananagot ang mga opsiyal ng AFP na sangkot sa anomalya
Tiniyak ng Department of Defense na mananagot ang mga opisyal ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) na sangkot sa milyong pisong halaga ng anomalya sa health service.
Pahayag ito Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana kasunod ng pagsibak ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa ilang opisyal ng AFP dahil sa maanomalyang pagbili ng mga gamit sa ospital.
Sinabi ni AFP chief of staff General Carlito Galvez na ang kwestyunableng deal ay nagkakahalaga ng P17 million.
Nalungkot si Galvez na nangyari ito sa gitna ng mataas na tiwala at kumpyansa ng mga Pilipino sa DND at AFP.
Ang pagkatanggal anya sa mga opisyal ng AFP Health Service ay resulta ng internal investigation ng Defense at military establishments.
Nagkaroon anya ng parallel investigation ang Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission na nagresulta sa pagsibak sa kanila ng Pangulo.
