“Kung Paano Hinihintay ang Dapithapon” itinanghal na Best Film sa Cinemalaya
Itinanghal na pinakamahusay na pelikula sa Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival ang “Kung Paano Hinihintay ang Dapithapon” ni Carlo Enciso Catu.
Bukod sa Best Film, apat pang parangal ang natanggap nasabing pelikula kabilang ang Best Screenplay (John Carlo Pacala), Best production design (Marielle Hizon), Best cinematography (Neil Daza) at ang Netpac Netpac (Network for the Promotion of Asia Pacific Cinema) award for full-length film.
Sa ikatlong pagkakataon sa Cinemalaya, itinanghal na best Actor si Eddie Garcia para sa pelikulang ML habang si Aiai Delas Alas ang nagwagi sa Best Actress category para sa “School Service.”
Panalo naman bilang best director si Che Espiritu para sa pelikulang “Pan de Salawal” na nagwagi din ng Special Jury Award (Full-length).
Ginawaran naman ng Best supporting actress award si Therese Malvar para sa dalawang pelikula na “School Service” at “Distance.”
Si Ketchup Eusebio ang nagwagi bilang Best supporting actor sa pelikulang “Mamang” at pinagsaluhan naman ng mga child actors na sina Miel Espinosa (“Pan de Salawal”), JM Salvado (“Musmos na Sumibol sa Gubat ng Digma”) at Kenken Nuyda (“Liway” and “School Service”) ang special award for child actors.
Ang Cinemalaya ay nagtapos kahapon (August 12) sa pamamagitan ng kanilang gabi ng parangal na ginanap sa CCP Main Theatre.
