Mga opisyal ng PNP sa Northern Samar, sibak sa pwesto dahil sa NPA raid
Iniutos ni Philippine National Police o PNP Chief Director Oscar Albayalde ang pagsibak sa tatlong opisyal ng Northern Samar Police.
Ito ang inaunsyo ni PNP Spokesperson Benigno Durana.
Ang direktiba ni Albayalde ay kasunod ng naganap na pagsalakay ng mahigit isang daan armadong rebelde, na hinihinalang mga miyembro ng New People’s Army o NPA, sa Lapinig Municipal Police Station kaninang madaling araw.
Pinasisibak ni Albayalde sa posisyon ang commander ng 2nd Northern Samar Provincial Mobile Force Company Chief Inspector Juan Byron Leogo at Northern Samar PNP Provincial Director Senior Supt. Romeo Campomanes.
Inirekumenda rin ng PNP Oversight Committee ang pag-alis sa pwesto kay PRO8 Regional Director Police Chief Supt. Mariel Magaway, habang nagsasagawa ng imbestigasyon Ang pambansang pulisya.
Maging ang chief of police ng Lapinig Municipal Police Station na si Police Inspector Noli Montebon at mga personnel ay sibak.
Dalawang pulis ang sugatan ang pag-atake ng mga rebelde.
Ayon sa PNP, kabilang sa mga bagay na nawawala at maaaring tinangay ay mga armas, pera na hindi binanggit ang halaga, mga cellphone at laptops.
