10-year-old Fil-Am winasak ang rekord na hawak ng US swimmer na si Michael Phelps

Sinira ng sampung taong gulang na Fil-Am swimmer ang record na ginawa ng U.S swimming champion na si Michael Phelps.

Ito ay matapos magwagi si Clark Kent Apuada sa 2018 long course meters sa Far Western International Age Group Championship.

Sa 100-meter butterfly event, nakapagtala si Apuada ng 1:09.38 na mas mabilis sa naitala ni Phelps noong 1995 sa kaparehong event na may oras na 1:09:48.

Ang nasabing record ni Phelps ay hindi pa nagigiba sa loob ng mahigit dalawampung taon.

Bukod sa bagong record, pitong gintong medalya din ang nakuha ni Apuada na may taguri ngayon na “Superman.”

Si Apuada ay residente ng California, USA at nagsimulang mag-aral lumangoy sa edad na 3 taon.

Nang tumuntong sa edad na 7 taon nagsimula nang magsasali sa mga kompetisyon si Apuada nang mapabilang siya sa Monterey County Aquatic Team.
