Recalibration ng taxi meters, sinimulan na ng LTFRB
Sinimulan na ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) ang recalibration ng metro ng mga taxi sa Old Domestic Road sa Parañaque City.
Ang hakbang ay alinsunod sa bagong pamasahe sa taxi na inaprubahan noong nakaraang taon.
Ayon sa LTFRB, mananatiling P40 ang flag down rate habang P13.50 ang bayad sa kada kilometro. May dagdag naman na P2 bawat minuto sa kabuuang taxi fare.
Sinabi ni LTFRB Chairman Martin Delgra na ang bagong taxi fare ay batay sa modelo ng mga Transport Network Vehicle Service (TNVS).
Isa sa mga requirement sa recalibration ay ang paglalagay ng taxi ng bagong teknolohiya gaya ng booking apps, GPS, wifi at dash cam.
Matapos ang recalibration at resealing ay magkakaroon ng road test. Kapag pumasa ang metro, lalagyan ng taxi meter calibration certification sticker ang upper-right corner ng windshield ng taxi.
Ang mga driver na mag-aaply para sa calibration ay kailangang dalhin ang calibration form na makukuha sa LTFRB website, ang franchise verification, OR/CR, undertaking, passbook at certificate of accreditation.
