NCRPO iimbestigahan ang pamamaslang sa suspek na pumatay sa prosecutor ng Ombudsman
Magsasagawa ng imbestigasyon ang National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) tungkol sa pamamaslang sa sinasabing suspek na pumatay naman kay Office of the Ombudsman Assistant Special Prosecutor Madonna Joy Tanyag noong June 4.
Matatandaang kahapon, July 28, nang tangkain umanong agawin ni Angelito Avenido Jr. ang baril ni PO2 Ramil Langa habang isinasailalim sa booking procedure sa Kampo Karingal.
Dahil dito ay pinaputukan ni Langa si Avenido na nagresulta sa kanyang pagkamatay.
Ayon kay NCRPO director, Chief Superintendent Guillermo Eleazar, maging ang mga pulis na naroon sa booking procedure ni Avenido ay isasailalim din sa imbestigasyon.
Ayon naman sa chief of staff ng Kampo Karingal na si Police Senior Superindentent Sydney Villaflor, bagaman mayroong posibilidad na makasuhan si Langa ng homicide ay maituturing itong worst case scenario.
Aniya, sumunod lamang sa protocol si Langa.
