Malacañang tiwala na madaling lulusot sa Kamara ang 2019 national budget
Naniniwala ang Malacañang na isang pagsubok ngayon kay bagong House Speaker Gloria Macapagal Arroyo ang pagpasa sa 2019 national budget na aabot sa mahigit sa P3.7 Trillion.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, umaasa ang palasyo na maipapasa ang budget sa tamang oras dahil nakapaloob dito ang Build Build Build program na nangangahulugan na mas maraming proyekto sa mga mambabatas.
“Nonetheless, we are confident that because this budget is intended to implement build, build, build which means more projects for all Congressmen and legislators as well, that it will be passed on time” paliwanag pa ng kalihim.
Sinabi pa ni Roque na cash-based na ang budget sa susunod na taon.
Nangangahulugan ito na hindi na uutang ng pondo at huhugot na lang sa kung ano ang kakailangan mula sa kaban ng pamahalaan.
Ang proposed 2019 national budget ay mas mataas ng P439.4 Billion o 13.2% na higit sa cash-based equivalent ng 2018 budget na P3.318 Trillion.
