Bagyong Josie, nagbabanta sa Ilocos Norte pero hindi magla-landfall

Patuloy ang banta ng Bagyong Josie sa Ilocos Norte pero maliit ang tsansa na tumama ito kalupaan.

Ayon sa PAGASA bulletin alas-5:00 ng hapon Sabado, huling namataan ang Bagyong Josie 55 kilometers Northwest ng Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.

Taglay nito ang lakas ng hangin na 55 kilometers per hour at bugsong 65 kilometers per hour.

Tinatahak ng bagyo ang direksyong east-northeast sa bilis na 25 kilometers per hour.

Ayon kay weather forecaster Loriedin de la Cruz, hindi masasabing tatama ang bagyo sa anumang bahagi ng Ilocos Norte at close approach ang nakikita nilang scenario.

Nakataas pa rin ang Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 1 sa Batanes, Northern Cagayan kabilang ang Babuyan Group of Islands, Ilocos Norte, northern parts ng Ilocos Sur, Apayao at northern parts ng Abra.

Nagpapaulan ang bagyo sa Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Batanes, Babuyan Group of Islands, Zambales, Tarlac at Nueva Ecija, gayundin sa Metro Manila, Calabarzon, natitirang bahagi ng Central Luzon at Cahayan Valley at Mindoro.

Mapanganib ang paglalayag sa seaboards ng Northern Luzon at western seaboard ng Central Luzon.

Inaasahang sa Miyerkules ang paglabas ng Bagyong Josie sa Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
