Drug suspect patay matapos manlaban sa mga pulis sa Mandaue City
Patay ang isang drug suspect makaraang manlaban sa mga otoridad sa Mandaue City sa Cebu, Miyerkules ng umaga.
Isinugod pa sa Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center ang 33 anyos na suspek na si Ranchie Castañeda matapos magtamo ng tama ng bala sa ulo at katawan pero hindi na ito umabot ng buhay.
Ayon kay Centro Police station chief, P/Chief Insp. Aldrin Villacampa, pinaputukan ng suspek ang isang arresting officer na magsisilbi ng warrant of arrest laban sa kaniya.
Dahil dito, ginantihan siya ng putok ng pulis na kaniyang ikinasawi.
Isisilbi sana kay Castañeda ang warrant of arrest sa kasong illegal drugs na kaniyang kinakaharap na inisyu ni Judge Mercedita Ygnacio ng Mandaue City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 28.
Nakuha mula sa suspek ang kalibre 45 baril at 10 maliliit na sachet ng hinihinalang shabu.
