Ayon sa Phivolcs, naitala ang episentro ng lindol sa layong 80 kilometro Silangan ng Lingig.
May lalim itong dalawang kilometro at tectonic ang dahilan.
Hindi naman inaasahan ang pinsala sa mga ari-arian at kasunod pang mga pagyanig.
