Police escort ni Trillanes, binawasan lang – Malacañang
Itinanggi ng Malakanyang na tinanggalan ng police security detail si Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, base sa impormasyon mula sa Philippine National Police (PNP), binawasan lamang ang police escorts ng Senador.
Ni-recall anya ang dalawang security personnel para kay Trillanes dahil mayroon itong anim gayung apat na police escorts lamang ang pwede rito.
Unang sinabi ni Trillanes na ni-recall ang kanyang security detail mula sa Police Security and Protection Group (PSGP).
Pero ayon sa director ng police unit na si Sr. Supt. Filmore Escobal, mayroon pang security detail mula sa Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang mambabatas.
Nagreklamo si Trillanes na tinanggihan umano ang hiling niya na renewal ng dalawang police escorts.
Bilang tugon ay sinabi naman ni Roque na hayaan ang PNP na mangalaga sa kaligtasan ng komunidad.
