Nakilala na ng mga otoridad kung sino ang nagmamay-ari ng getaway vehicle na ginamit ng mga suspek sa pagpatay kay Trece Martires City Vice Mayor Alexander Lubigan.

Ayon sa binuong Special Investigation Task Group malaking tulong ang pagkak-recover sa sasakyan na nakita sa Maragondon, Cavite.

May tatlong persons of interest din na tinututukan ang mga ototirdad.
