Sumadsad na barko sa Agusan Del Norte binabantayan sa posibleng oil spill

Patuloy na minomonitor ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) sa posibleng oil spill ang sumadsad na cargo vessel sa baybaying sakop ng Tubay, Agusan Del Norte.

Ang LCT Islander-10 ay may lulang 25,969 na litro ng diesel nang itp ay sumadsad sa bahagi ng Barangay Tinigbasan noong Linggo, July 8.

Hinampas umano ng malalaking alon ang barko kaya ito sumadsad.

Ipinabatid din ng chief engineer ng barko sa Coast Guard Butuan na mayroong tatlong butas na naktia sa barko.

Agad namang nagsagawa ng inspeksyon ang Coast Guard at Special Operations Force and Marine Environmental Protection Unit ng Butuan sa barko para alamin kung posible itong magdulot ng oil spill.
