Opisyal ng Bacolod City, pinasisibak dahil sa maanomalyang titulo ng lupa
Pinasisibak sa pwesto ng Office of the Ombudsman ang isang opisyal ng Bacolod City dahil sa maanomalyang paghahain ng titulo ng lupa.
Ayon sa Ombudsman, guilty sa grave misconduct at conduct prejudicial to the best interest of the service si Registrar of Deeds Romulo Gonzaga.
Posible ring maharap si Gonzaga sa kasong kriminal dahil sa paglabag umano sa Section 3(e) ng Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act.
Inakusahan si Gonzaga ng iligal na paghahain umano ng Transfer of Certificate Title kay Florentino Perez bagaman wala siyang naipresentang Certificate Authorizing Registration (CAR) at Tax Clearance Certificate na kinakailangan.
Bunsod nito, naghain ng reklamo ang Bureau of Internal Revenue laban sa opisyal. Nagresulta raw kasi ito sa pagkawala ng P86,231.33 na buwis sa gobyerno.
Iginiit naman ni Gonzaga na hindi maaaring isisi sa kanya ito dahil hindi niya nabubusisi lahat ng dokumentong dumadaan sa kanya dahil sa dami ng kanyang trabaho.
Sa kabila nito, sinabi ng Ombudsman na lumabag pa rin sa batas si Gonzaga sa pag-apruba nito ng transfer of property ni Perez gayong wala ito ng CAR.
