Hindi nababahala ang Malacañang sa pagpalo sa 5.2 percent na inflation rate sa buwan ng Hunyo.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, bagama’t totoo na mas mataas ang presyo ng mga bilihin ngayon hindi ito sapat na rason para magpanic ang publiko.
Paliwanag ni Roque, may umiikot na pera galing sa buwis at economic activity kaya nagtutulak ito ng mabilis na pagtaas ng presyo ng mga bilihin.
Sinabi pa ng kalihim na nasa historical amounts dahil sa ikinasang Build Build Build program ng pamahalaan na naglalayong pagandahin ang mga imprastraktura sa bansa.
Dagdag pa ni Roque, “Well, we’ve explained this before ‘no. There’s money going around, that’s why you are bound to have inflation. There’s money from the free tuition. There’s money from taxes that’s paid by those who earning 250,000”.
Noong taong 2011 nang huling pumalo sa 5.2 percent ang inflation ng Pilipinas.
