Localized peace talks sa CPP-NPA-NDF, aprubado ni Pangulo Duterte

Papayagan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang Local Government Units (LGUs) na magkaroon ng localized peace talks sa Communist Party of the Philippines – New Peoples Army – National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF).

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, ito ang napagkasunduan sa Joint AFP – PNP Command Conference na ipinatawag Miyerkules (July 4) ng gabi ni Pangulong Duterte sa Malakanyang.

Ayon kay Roque, kinakailangan lamang tiyakin ng LGUs na hindi magkaroon ng coalition government sa CPP-NPA-NDF.

Kinakailangan din aniya na aprubado ng cabinet security cluster ang anumang kasunduan na ilalatag ng LGUs sa komunistang grupo.

Sinabi pa ni Roque na malinaw rin ang direktiba ng pangulo na dapat nang itigil ng komunistang grupo ang pangongolekta ng revolutionary tax, walang hostilities, at dapat manatili lamang sa mga kampo ang NPA fighters habang umuusad ang localized peace talks.

“The door for peace talks remains open provided that PRRD’s conditions are met: in country, no collection of revolutionary tax, no hostilities, npa fighters to remain encamped, and no coalition government. Meanwhile, localized peace talks may be pursued by local LGU’s provided they do not concede any aspect of governance and pursuant to guidelines to be agreed upon by the cabinet cluster on security” ayon kay Roque

Matatandaang hindi natuloy ang pag-resume ng peace talks sa pagitan ng gobyerno at komunistang grupo sa Norway noong June 28 matapos humirit ng dagdag panahon ang pangulo para pag-aralan ang alok na usaping pangkapayapaan at alamin muna ang pulso ng taong bayan.
