Bagong EPD director nagsimula na sa kanyang trabaho
Pormal nang mauupo bilang bagong pinuno ng Eastern Police District o EPD si Police Senior Supt. Bernabe Balba.
Pinangunahan ni National Capital Regional Police Office o NCRPO Director Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar ang turn-over of command ceremony sa EPD Headquartes sa Pasig City ngayong hapon.
Si Balba ang kapalit ni outgoing Director Chief Supt. Alfred Corpuz, na ililipat naman sa Office of the Chief PNP.
Kahapon, inanunsyo ni Eleazar na inalis na si Corpuz bilang EPD chief na isang NHQ command decision daw o resulta ng deliberasyon ng oversight committee ng Philippine National Police.
Labingdalawang araw lamang na nakapamuno sa EPD si Corpuz matapos ang balasahan sa PNP.
Sa kanyang speech, nagpasalamat si Corpuz kina Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, PNP Chief Oscar Albayalde at Eleazar.
Aniya, hindi masusukat sa haba o ikli ng panahon ang ipinagkaloob na serbisyo sa publiko.
Tiwala naman si Corpuz na magagampanan ni Balba ang kanyang trabaho bilang EPD chief sabay apela sa mga kasamahan na suportahan ang kanyang bagong liderato.
