Ayon sa PHIVOLCS, naitala ang episentro ng lindol sa layong 42 kilometro Kanluran ng bayan ng Pagudpud.
May lalim ang lindol na 34 kilometro at tectonic ang dahilan.
Hindi naman inaasahan ang aftershocks at pinsala sa ari-arian.
