Malacañang: Same-sex marriage hindi pa tanggap sa lipunang Pinoy

Naniniwala ang Malacañang na hindi pa handa ang Pilipinas maging ang Supreme Court na magkaroon ng same sex marriage sa bansa.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, maging si Congresswoman Geraldine Roman na siyang kauna unahang transgender na mambabatas sa Pilipinas ay aminadong hindi pa tanggap ng publiko ang same sex marriage.

Ayon kay Roque, sa halip na same sex marriage, isinusulong na lamang ngayon sa Pilipinas ang sexual orientation and gender equality o SOGI.

Giit ni Roque, masyadong makabago o “too revolutionary” ang same sex marriage para tanggapin sa lipunan.

Kung matatandaan ayon kay Roque, ayaw din ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na magkaroon ng same sex marriage.

“And even the President has actually… changed his mind on it. There was a time he says that he was against it. There was a time he said he’s for it. So talagang this is fluid and iyon na nga”, ayon pa sa opisyal.
