Ayon kay CBCP President at Davao Archbishop Romulo Valles, men of peace at hindi karahasan ang isinusulong ng mga pari.
Sinabi pa ni Archbishop Valles na hindi ang pag-aarmas ang solusyon sa sunod-sunod na kaso ng pagpatay sa mga pari.
Bahagi na aniya ng Simbahang Katolika at ng mga pari na maharap sa panganib.
Sinabi pa ni Archbishop Valles na nakahanda ang mga pari na harapin ang kamatayan at patuloy na tatalima sa mabuting turo ng mga salita ng Diyos.
