Pondo para sa Bus Rapid Transit System ipinalilipat ni Rep. Castelo sa MMDA
Ipinalilipat ni House Committee on Metro Manila Development Chairman Winston Castelo ang pondo para sa Bus Rapid Transit System na proyekto ng Department of Transportation sa Metro Manila Development Authority.
Ayon kay Quezon City Rep. Winston Castelo, pinuno ng komite, dapat ilipat na lamang sa MMDA ang proyekto at ang budget para sa BRT dahil ito ay napondohan na ng Kongreso.
Inaprubahan aniya ang pondo base sa ginawang presentasyon ng DOTr na magiging tugon ito sa malalang trapiko sa bansa.
Sinabi naman ni Marikina Rep. Bayani Fernando na may kahalintulad na rin na sistema tulad sa BRT noong panahon niya sa MMDA pero hindi naman itinuloy ng noon ay Department of Transportation and Communication.
Sampung bilyong pisong budget ang inaprubahan ng Kongreso para sa Bus Rapid Transit na kahalintulad sa train na may special lane at sariling babaan at sakayan ng mga pasahero.
