White House sarado para sa anumang team na mananalo sa NBA finals
Nilinaw ni U.S Prersident Donald Trump na hindi niya gagayahin ang mga naunang tradisyon na iniiimbitahan sa White House ang mga team na nananalo ng championship trophy sa NBA finals.
Ayon kay Trump, “”I didn’t invite LeBron James, and I didn’t invite Steph Curry. We’re not going to invite either team…I think we’ll have the Caps. We’ll see. You know, my attitude is if they want to be here, the greatest place on Earth, I’m here. If they don’t want to be here, I don’t want them”.
Nauna dito ay sinabi ni LeBron James na hindi siya pupunta sa White House sakaling sila ang tanghaling kampeon sa NBA.
Si James ay kilalang kritiko ni Trump mula pa noong panahon ng kampanya.
Ikinatwiran naman ng kampo ni Trump na abala ang chief executive sa paghahanda sa gaganaping G7 Summit sa Canada.
Sa kanyang panig, sinabi naman ni Curry na hindi ang pagpunta sa White House ang kanilang prayoridad sa kasalukuyan kundi ang makuha ang kampeonato sa NBA.
Wala rin umanong problema kung imbitahan man sila o hindi sa Washington ni Trump.
