Plunder case laban kay dating B.I Deputy Comm. Argosino tuloy

Hindi pinagbigyan ng 6th Division ng Sandiganbayan ang mosyon ni dating Immigration Deputy Commissioner Al Argosino na ibasura ang kanyang kasong plunder may kaugnayan sa pagtanggap ng P50 Million suhol mula sa gambling tycoon na si Jack Lam.

Base sa 13-pahinang resolusyon na inilabas ng mga mahistrado ng 6th Division ng Anti Graft Court, malinaw sa information na isinampa ng Ombudsman na marapat lamang na litisin sa kasong plunder si Argosino.

Sinabi ng korte na malinaw din ang alegasyon kay Argosino na tumanggap ng paunang P20 Million at isa pang P30 Million mula kay Wally Sombero.

Si Argosino at ang kanyang kapwa akusado na si dating Immigation Deputy Commissioner Michael Robles.

Sa naging argumento ni Argosino isang criminal act lamang ang naganap at hindi rin aabot sa P50 Million ang kanilang tinanggap kaya hindi ito pasok sa kasong plunder.

Si Argosino at Robles ay kapwa nakakulong sa Camp Bagong Diwa sa Taguig City.
